CORNEAL TOPOGRAPHER - this instrument allows detailed mapping of the cornea, the clear front surface of the eye that is responsible for 70% of the eye's focusing ability. It is utilized in contact lens fitting, diagnosing and managing of corneal disease, such as keratoconus, as well as evaluating pre- and postoperative refractive surgery (LASIK).
